MELBOURNE, AGAIN..

Flying over Australia, just East of Perth. During
hot summer, the shallow river and lakes dry up
as can be seen here, become whitish.

Melbourne city from the birds eyes view. Good visibility, nice
25 deg C temperature but sometime can be very hot and humid
with a lot of clouds formation overhead.

Approaching the runway to land, runway 16 Melbourne Airport.

The hotel where they put us for the night after 14 hours of
flight. The Crowne Plaza.

Beautiful view from my room.

LATEST VIEW OF DUBAI

Departing from Runway 31R AUH, EMERU 1P Departure will bring us directly over Dubai on the Northeast bound track. As can see on the picture below, almost the whole Dubai is visible especially The Palm Jumeirah, the not completed yet The World and the newly completed Burj Khalifah, the tallest building in the world. Good visibility during the winter, can expect haze coming soon as the temperature rises.

CHICAGO Part 2

My second trip to Chicago, KORD Ohare International Airport on the 13th Jan 2010.

Arrived late evening, already dark when we reached the hotel, so stayed in the room till morning the next day. At 10 am local time, braved myself to take a walk along the Michigan Avenue towards Millennium Park.

This scupture situated infront of the Millennium Park, shining
bean, could see the refection of the city on it.

The water in the river still in the iced form, breaking up.

This one I took while standing infront of the Chicago Tribune.

Descending over Abu Dhabi city during approach to land, back from Chicago.
Home sweet home.
